Q. When and where is the parade this year ?
A. The umbrella parade is on Saturday and starts at 10:00 am with a gathering near Hope Park Café. The procession then heads in to town and the Market Square led by the superb ‘Scarlette Serenaders’. All are welcome to join the parade, ticket holder or not. Please bring your Jazzy Brolly!

Q. Where do I buy tickets?
A. Tickets may be bought on-line via this website – click the Buy Your Tickets! link at the top of this page. Alternatively, you can buy via our dedicated Festival Box Office telephone line at Victoria Hall, Settle. Telephone 03306062654 (calls charged at standard local rate)

Q. When and where is my favourite Jazz or Blues artist playing?
A. For a limited Guide in response to this FAQ, please see the table posted on the 2018 Schedule page. The Guide is currently given in lieu of the full musical schedule, which shall not be finalised nor released until just before the event. Also, please be aware it is not a comprehensive listing of all the artists booked to date, nor is it indicative of the number of sessions performed daily. We have given band member names as current line-up is expected, but it’s all jazz and so subject to change!

Q. When I make transaction online, how secure is my data?
A. Your transaction is made directly with a Cyber Essentials accredited company, Stripe, who have to ensure the security of the data in its systems at all times. This means that data is encrypted at all times in its life-cycle, including when it is at rest.

Q. Do you use my data for any other purpose?
A. We do not on-sell customer data to third parties. Any customer information held in our systems is only utilised for the processing of our client’s transactions and any associated marketing activity.

Q. If I telephone to buy tickets, will the Box Office be manned to take my call?
A. The Festival Box Office telephone is manned between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm on weekdays, Monday to Friday. A telephone answering machine operates at times outside of these hours. Please leave your name and full telephone number for a return call.

Q. The Box Office telephone starts with 033 – is this expensive?
A. Not at all – 033 numbers are connected at local call rates from wherever you are in the country, whether using a landline or a mobile, your usual rates will apply.

Q. I want to know more about when my favourite Artist will be playing – will the Box Office tell me?
A. The Box Office only has the same information as given on this website. The Schedule page will soon indicate which days our Artists will be playing, but please note information given is subject to schedule change at short notice and/or circumstances which may be beyond our control, even though we do our best to be correct.

Q. The Artist page states ‘and many more’ at the foot of the list, can I find out how many more and who else is to be playing at the Festival?
A. Our Musical Programmer is still hard at work booking artists for 2018, but hopes you are impressed with the names confirmed so far. Please check the website regularly for many more exciting additions are yet to be added to the list!

Q. Which venues are reserved for Stroller Ticket holders?
A. We are close to securing our 2018 venues and expect to be announcing these mid-November. The list will be published here on our website, in our newsletter and in The Jazz Guide.
